I will have to wait for the DVD. But I love documentaries. It sounds very intriguing!

ps - I think there is a typo at the beginning of your posts, it should say "twelve years ago, Feb. 24th of 1996", I think. ;)

COH: Thanks for the typo alert. You'd think spell-check would be enough, right?

I remember reading about the event at the time and being horrified. I'm so sorry for your loss. I will have to rend it when it comes out on DVD.

The trailer is intense! It's showing here in Houston. I will have to go see it.

I'm usually never a typotroll....ever. Lol....

Will it be showing in other states?

Regenia: It depends on how well it does in the initial markets. And documentaries often don't get too much play in theaters. That's why so many documentaries end up on Netflix or at your local Blockbuster before you ever even heard they existed.

Oh my, what a terrible thing! I remember hearing about that at the time, and was so sad then. Condolences to your family, and you should be so proud to have such a wonderful man for an uncle. I can't wait to see this film. I'm not sure, btw, why this would be a "politically charged" post. I am so impressed by the Cuban community every time I come down to Florida, you've added something so wonderful to the area- and as your uncle proved, you've added soemthing wonderful to our country, too, since not many are willing to die for freedom and democracy.

Chris and I would love to see this movie. Where in South Florida is it playing? In a former article you alluded to having a sister and attending her movie's premier. I wondered then, but for some reason wasn't alble to send you a missive.

This only proves that you never know the circumstances of another's life (unless you are like me and can't keep her mouth shut). (A characteristic my children adore...)

Give me the info and I'll give you the critique - although with your endorsement, I'm sure it will be quite difficult, moving, enlightening, worthwhile, etc. to shake us up to realize that getting involved - being passionate, wanting to make the world a better place make us better people.
